This quilt started out as something to Show and Tell in my quilt group for Valentine's Day. Then the woman next door announced her pregnancy and it became a a race to hand-quilt hearts and feathers in time for the arrival. Sadie was born recently and our neighbors are delighted with the quilt. I like giving baby quilts because they are so well received (almost always).

Love the baby quilt and the wonderful crabapple tree. I have made one baby quilt from my own design...I got so much enjoyment from doing that and yes it was well received. Love the bowls..I am going to have to see how those were done. Thanks for sharing.
